Consultant to aid possible regionalization of Ansonia, Derby schools

DERBY — A fact-finding meeting about possible regionalization of the city and Ansonia public schools brought up lots of questions and observations, and resulted in one decision:
Ansonia Superintendent of Schools Carol Merlone and Derby Superintendent Stephen Tracy will identify one or more consultants to work for free to provide some answers.
It was the group’s third meeting, according to Ken Marcucio, chairman of the Derby Board of Education.
