Grandma arrested in Seymour drug bust claims family was wrongfully targeted by cops

SEYMOUR — A grandmother arrested along with several family members during a drug raid at her Knorr Avenue home last week said Wednesday her family was wrongfully targeted by Seymour police.
Kimberly Pignataro, 46, denies all allegations by police that the home was a drug factory, and said the “deplorable conditions” that forced the removal by the state of two of the five young children living with her were created by the police when they “ransacked” the house.
