Eagle Scouts improve Seymour park; half-acre parcel named in their honor

SEYMOUR — The next time someone launches a canoe or kayak into the Housatonic River, or enjoys a picnic lunch under the new pavilion in the Keith Mitchell Forest, they can thank the efforts of three hardworking Eagle Scouts.
And as a huge “thank-you” to the three young men responsible for bringing more recreational opportunities to residents, a half-acre in the forest has been named on their behalf.
