DERBY — The Steampunk art movement is coming to town.
The Valley Arts Council has put out a call to artists for its next show, “The Art of Futures Past: A Steampunk Exhibition,” at Gallery@ 37, 37 Elizabeth St.
Opening reception is 6-9 p.m. March 24; snow date is 1-4 p.m. March 25.
An advertisement for the show and sale says it will feature “a modern day artistic study of the Victorian-era science fiction aesthetic and a retro-futuristic view of the commonplace.”
