Physician joins Griffin Faculty Practice

  DERBY - Griffin Faculty Practice welcomes Dr. Shilpa Shetty to its network of primary care physicians.
  Shetty will offer primary care full-time at the Derby office, located at 67 Maple Ave. beginning Nov. 1. The office is conveniently located directly across the street from Griffin Hospital’s Emergency Department.
For the past two years, Shetty served the community, taking care of hospitalized patients at Griffin Hospital. Prior to that, she was a standout member of the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Griffin Hospital, winning the Best Medical Resident Award in 2010.
She received her Internal Medicine training in the United Kingdom at Calderdale Royal Hospital, Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and West Cumberland Hospital.
Shetty graduated Kasturba Medical College, MAHE University, in India. Her research interests include diabetes and hypertension.

Dr. Shetty will offer free “Meet & Greet” appointments to all new patients by appointment. All major insurance plans are accepted.
