DERBY - There will be an
observance of Veterans Day at 10 a.m. Nov. 12 on
the Derby Green.
The event will be hosted by the John H. Collins American
Legion
Post 24 of Derby.
Guest speaker will be James Connery, Secretary/Treasurer of the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War.
Refreshments will be served after the ceremony at the Veterans Memorial,
corner of Seymour Avenue and Atwater Avenue.
All veterans and the public are encouraged to attend.
