MIDDLETOWN — An Ansonia man was found competent to face charges of assault Wednesday in Middletown Superior Court.
Kevin Bombardier, 29, 156 Beaver St., is charged with second-degree assault and second-degree threatening.
The charges stem from an incident in April 2011, in which state police troopers responded to a call at Schailerville Manor in Haddam, on a report of an assault on a resident by another resident.
Police arrived and saw Bombardier sitting in a community room, and the alleged victim was in the kitchen area, “crouched in the corner covered in blood,” according to the police report.
