Valley men cook and serve their special dishes at Men Who Cook.  You can sample Grilled Stinging Wings, Roadside Chili, Chipotle Chicken Tacos or Sicilian Special Spicy Pasta? Here’s the beef with Zap’s authentic Italian Meatballs, beef stroganoff, rouladen and red cabbage, steak on a stick, kielbasa and kraut.
If poultry is your wish then try chicken marsala, buffalo chicken sandwiches, BBQ wings, smoked turkey or teriyaki chicken.
Also on the menu are pulled pork, porketta, add sides of mac and cheese, scalloped potatoes and Greek pasta with feta and veggies.  Like fish and veggies -- no problem with gazpacho, eggplant lasagna, penne with vodka sauce, grilled shrimp and seafood gumbo.  Leave room for dessert that includes: chocolate mousse, coconut cupcakes, key lime pie, brownies, tres leches cake, raspberry crème brule' and much more.
Special MC for the event is Chaz of Chaz and AJ in the morning on 99.1 PLR, Connecticut's number one morning show.  Men Who Cook runs from 6-11 p.m. April 14 at Warsaw Park in Ansonia.
Only $55 per person includes food, beer/wine and soft drinks. You can take part in a great silent auction and dance off calories with music.
Tickets must be obtained in advance; see www.teaminc.org for details.
All proceeds benefit programs provided by TEAM, Inc. serving the needs of individuals and families living in the Valley.
