DERBY — Children’s author Suzy Kline on Wednesday offered writing tips to students at Bradley Elementary School.
The day started with Kline having breakfast with 32 selected students. Several children acted out a Reader’s Theater script for her.
“I loved it,” Kline said. “They had so much expression. It was wonderful.”
Kline, of Willington, has written many children’s books. She has one series featuring Horrible Harry (named after her father) as the hero and another about a character named Herbie Jones. She was an elementary school teacher for 25 years.
