SEYMOUR — Plans for a new skate park continued to ramp up this week.
The Board of Selectmen voted at its meeting Tuesday to terminate the lease between the town and the Seymour Housing Authority for Randall Field, the future home of the new skate/BMX park.
In addition, professional skateboarders will meet this afternoon with teens at Seymour Middle School to get their ideas for the new park.
The town, in 2008, leased the town-owned field, next to the Community Center, to SHA for a possible elderly housing complex.
