DERBY — Finance Director Henry Domurad submitted his letter of resignation Friday, making him the second City Hall employee to resign this week.
In an undated letter submitted to Mayor Anthony Staffieri, Domurad said he’s leaving because “a number of personal responsibilities have arisen that require my full attention.”
Domurad said his resignation would take effect immediately or “with whatever reasonable time frame of notification decided upon by the Mayor.”
Staffieri did not return phone calls seeking comment Friday. Staffieri’s administrative assistant, Phil Robertson, deferred comments to Corporation Counsel Joseph Coppola, who also did not return a phone call or email for comment Friday.
