ANSONIA — The city wants to cut ties with Duke Realty on a contract signed in 2008 to sell the ATP and Palmer buildings to the development company, which had proposed building condominiums there, but the plan has yet to come to fruition.
The Ansonia Development Corp. met behind closed doors for about 45 minutes Wednesday with Corporation Counsel Kevin Blake and Mayor James Della Volpe to discuss legal proceedings in the matter.
No action was taken after the executive session.
However, Blake was given marching orders by the corporation members to contact Duke’s attorney to discuss the prospect of getting out of the contract.
