ANSONIA — Police confirmed late Wednesday that a teenager was shot along Olson Drive.
The victim has been identified today as Marquvios Mullins, 17, of 125 Olson Dr., according to a police statement.
Police said Mullins suffered one gunshot wound and is in serious condition at Yale-New Haven Hospital.
The shooting took place around 7 p.m.
Police said the suspect is believed to be a black male in his late teens to early twenties and was wearing dark clothing and possibly a dark colored hat.
Police continue to investigate and anyone with information is asked to call the detective division at 203-735-1885.
