SEYMOUR — A Wednesday workshop at Town Hall focused on downtown development, and uncovered several issues on the minds of business and property owners.
One concern is the need for more parking spaces. Another is the need for better signage, to point motorists unfamiliar with the area toward the retail district.
Economic Development Director Fred A. Messore said the town is holding a series of outreach meetings to get input on downtown development, including a public meeting at 7 p.m. May 9 at Seymour Middle School.
