ANSONIA — Police confirmed late Wednesday that a teenager was shot along Olson Drive.
Police said the shooting happened around 7 p.m. and officers were still on the scene at 10 p.m. Police said they had no other details to share.
However, the Valley Independent tweeted that the teenager suffered one gunshot wound and is in serious condition at Yale-New Haven Hospital.
Police continue to investigate.
