DERBY — Angels sent from above.
That’s how grateful clients of St. Vincent De Paul Helping Hands of the Valley describe the nonprofit’s director, Sandi Bailie, and shop manager, Cindy Barbian.
The organization runs a thrift shop at 237 Roosevelt Drive whose proceeds benefit a food pantry.
The nonprofit Wednesday distributed Easter food, a week’s groceries, and gaily wrapped Easter baskets filled with toys, plush animals and candy to the Valley needy.
