Post 10 reschedules memorial program in Shelton
SHELTON - The Saga of the Four Chaplains will be memorialized at 7 p.m. Feb. 27 at St. Margaret Mary Church, 50 Donovan Lane.
The event was postponed from Feb. 3 due to inclement weather.
Emil Senger Post 10, The American Legion of Seymour will present the program.
It will honor those four men of God who sacrificed their lives about the USAT Dorchester on Feb. 3, 1943.
Come join us to honor their courageous actions and their unwavering duty to God and Country when, without regard for themselves, gave away their own life jackets to save others on deck on that frigid winter night.
Light refreshments will be served in the church hall.
