Ansonia, Derby mayors partner for free business forum
ANSONIA >> Mayor David Cassetti and Derby Mayor Anita
Dugatto are partnering for a free Valley Business Forum March 12 at the
My Health 1st Urgent Care facility, 158 Main St.
According to a press release, local businesses are invited to hear from experts about programs, grants and resources to help businesses grow and stimulate job creation.
In addition to Cassetti and Dugatto, presenters will include: Nestor Leon, assistant vice president of WorkPlace Inc.; Carmen A.Nieves, Step Up regional coordinator of WorkPlace Inc.; Lori-Lynn Chatlos, business services specialist, Connecticut Department of Labor; and Lindy Lee Gold of the state Department of Economic and Community Development.
The forum, scheduled to run 7:30-9:30 a.m., will be moderated by state Rep. Linda Gentile, D-Ansonia/Derby.
Refreshments will be served.
The event is free, but registration is required.
