Late Ansonia educator honored at middle school

ANSONIA - A new sign outside the Ansonia Middle School auditorium honors the late Superintendent of Schools and Ansonia native Dr. Richard F. Nicolari, who died in 2011.

A dedication ceremony will be held in June.

Message from the Superintendent:

Dear Parents and Staff,

As we sit on the eve of yet more inclement weather I wanted to provide you with an update as to where we are with the school calendar. The last day of school is currently Friday, June 28. Any further school closings will be made up during the April Break beginning with the Friday of the April Break. 

As an example if school should be closed tomorrow then we will make that day up on Friday, April 19.
