Induction slated into Seymour Sports Hall of Fame

SEYMOUR -  The second induction banquet to the Seymour High School Sports Hall of Fame will be held Nov. 14 at The Colonial Tavern, 24 Hawley Road, Oxford.

There will be a social hour and cash bar at 6 p.m., followed by dinner.

Inductees to be honored are Walt Stosuy, Class of 1955; Dick Dahn, Class of 1955; Jack Sledjeski, Class of 1957; Tom Heffernan, Class of 1980; KC Sirowich, Class of 1987; Sean LoPresti, Class of 1990; Tracey Garofalo, Class of 1988; Jay Perez, Class of 1999..

Tickets for the event will be on sale at Armand's Service Center, Seymour Town Hall, and Seymour High School, at a cost of $40.

A special recognition award will be given in memory of John Gallagher who was an enthusiastic supporter of Seymour High School athletics.

Seymour Hall of Fame to induct 8 at banquet

SEYMOUR - The Seymour High School Sports Hall of Fame committee will induct eight members to the Seymour High School Sports Hall of Fame at a banquet Nov. 1 at The Colonial Tavern in Oxford.

A social hour and cash bar will start at 6 p.m. with the banquet to follow.  

The inductees to be honored are Walt Stousy (1955), Dick Dahn (1955), Jack Sledjeski (1957), Tom Heffernan (1980), KC Sirowich (1987), Sean LoPresti (1990), Jay Perez (1999), and Tracy Garofalo (1998).
