Cultural Commission to host 11th annual reunion in Ansonia

Event is for alumni from all decades
ANSONIA - The city's Cultural Commission is sponsoring its 11th Annual AHS/PHS (Ansonia High and Pine High Schools) All Decades Reunion Aug. 23 at Molto Bene Italian Kitchen, 557 Wakelee Ave. (formerly Rapp's Paradise Inn).
The festivities start at 6 p.m. in the banquet room.

All former classmates are invited to attend and the price is $25 per person, which includes a three-entree buffet featuring fish, chicken, and roast beef, vegetables, and dessert. There will be a cash bar.

Local DJ Phyllis Kaplan is planning a complete music trip down "Memory Lane" for all the decades. Be sure to wear your dancing shoes.

After dinner, classmates are invited to join the activities and dance to the music of Stratford-based "That 80's Band."
No seating will be available as the band attracts a huge following.

There will be no cover charge to be a part of the patio scene.

Contact your classmates and help make this a memorable event.  "Go Ansonia"!!!!
Let the spirit of yesteryear kick in with good food, great conversation, dancing, and lots of memories.

Ansonia Cultural Commission throws a lively party

Focus on friends, memories, music
The banner welcomes all to the patio at Molto Bene Italian American Kitchen Friday night. The Bernadettes, a fantastic R&B/ funk/rock band from New Haven, are performing in the background.

ANSONIA - Those who know me know I'm not much of a party person, but my husband Ralph and I did enjoy ourselves Friday night at the 10th annual AHS/PHS All-Decades Reunion for Ansonia and Pine High School graduates.

Although neither of us is an alum, our kids graduated from Ansonia High School in '06 and '08,

The reunion was held both inside and on the patio at Molto Bene Italian American Kitchen (the former John J. Sullivan's Restaurant). The weather was perfect for an outdoor party.
It was a regular Friday night schedule for the restaurant, which includes live bands on the patio each weekend.
The Bernadettes rock the patio.

It helps to remember to use the flash on the camera.

Judy Nicolari, Cultural Commission chairwoman, and commission member Jimmy Little dance the night away.  My guess is they had a good time.

I imagine Judy is already planning the 11th annual reunion...stay tuned!
