Seymour Ambulance to Host Annual 'Pictures with Santa' Fundraiser

SEYMOUR- Seymour Ambulance Association will hold its annual Pictures with Santa Fundraiser on Dec. 5 and Dec. 6.

Come and support a great cause and avoid the long lines at the mall. Pictures on Saturday, Dec. 5 will be from 9 a.m. to  5 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 6 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Your digital photo will print while your child enjoys a holiday movie, writes a letter to Santa, does a craft project with Santa's elves and enjoys a holiday treat.  Parents can choose from one 8-by-10, two 5-by-7s, or nine wallet size photos. Each photo sheet is $14, or an entire package consisting of each sheet can be purchased for $35.

All proceeds benefit the volunteers at Seymour Ambulance.

Seymour Ambulance to hold food drive


SEYMOUR - The Seymour Ambulance Association will hold its second annual Summer Food Drive from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Seymour Stop and Shop, 15 Franklin St.

This event helps to keep the Seymour/Oxford Food Bank stocked during the summer months. The summer is a critical time for food banks because donations decrease. It is vital for those in need in the community to receive assistance throughout the year.

Bingo to raise funds for Seymour Ambulance

SEYMOUR - Seymour Ambulance Association will hold a bingo fundraising event Oct. 26.
The event is open to the public.
It will be held at the Seymour Community Center Gymnasium, 20 Pine St.

 Doors will open at 9:30 a.m. and bingo will begin at 10 a.m.
Admission is $20 a person.

Tickets may be purchased in advance by calling 203-888-8843, ext. 2 or by stopping by Seymour Ambulance Association office at 4 Wakeley St. on Monday or Wednesday between 12:30 and 5 p.m.

Fifteen six-card games will be conducted.
Coffee and donuts will be served in the morning and snacks and beverages will be available for purchase.
All proceeds will go toward the purchase of safety equipment for our volunteers.
