Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with the Naugatuck Community Band in Seymour
SEYMOUR >> Come celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with the Naugatuck Community Band sponsored by the Seymour Culture and Arts Commission. The band will perform in concert Music of the Celtic Isles featuring musical selections from Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England.
The Naugatuck Community Band is a volunteer, non-profit organization consisting of musicians from throughout the Naugatuck Valley area and beyond. They enjoy and take pride in performing music at various events throughout the year.
The Celtic concert will be held on Saturday, March 14 at the Seymour Middle School, 211 Mountain Road, beginning at 7 p.m. The concert is free to the public but those attending are asked to bring a non-perishable item to donate to the local Food Bank. Band to perform Celtic music
SEYMOUR - Come celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at 7 p.m. March 8 with the Naugatuck Community Band sponsored by the Seymour Culture and Arts Commission.
The band will perform a Celtic Music Concert featuring Irish favorites such as Gaelic Rhapsody and The Rakes of Mallow as well as music from the movie Brave and the Broadway production Lord of the Dance as well as many other Celtic and Irish pieces.

Impending storm postpones concert in Seymour
SEYMOUR - The Seymour Culture and Arts Commission and the Naugatuck Community Band have postponed Saturday's concert at the Strand Theater to Dec. 21 due to the impending storm.
The concert will begin at 7 p.m.

The performance is free, but those attending are asked to bring a non-perishable food item for the local food bank.

Naugatuck Community Band to perform in Seymour
SEYMOUR - The
Naugatuck Community Band will present "Sounds of the Season," a
concert of favorite Christmas and holiday classics old and
new, at 7 p.m. Dec. 14 at the Strand Theater, 165 Main St.
The concert is sponsored by the Seymour Culture and Arts Commission.
A food drive will be part of the event and the public is
encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the food bank.

SEYMOUR - The Naugatuck Community Band will be presenting “Trick or Treat,” a concert of favorite Halloween tunes, at 7 p.m. Oct. 26 at the Strand Theater, 165 Main St.
The concert is sponsored by the Seymour Culture and Arts Commission.
A food drive for the Seymour/Oxford Food Bank will be a part of the event. Concert-goers are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to donate.
