Ansonia Nature Center to host Tellabration

Tellabration is a mammoth storytelling event - and that's no Tall Tale!
It's a storytelling phenomenon, made up of dozens of storytelling happenings all over the world.
Its purpose is to introduce adults, as well as children, to the pleasures of the oral art of storytelling. It is one of the programs offered by The Connecticut Storytelling Center, based at Connecticut College in New London.

The Ansonia Nature Center, 10 Deerfield Road, Ansonia, will host a Tellabration for all ages at 2 p.m. Nov. 24.
For information contact Donna Lindgren, 203-736-1053 or ansnaturectr@ansoniact.org.

Karianna Rosenberg, featured storyteller, is also a dancer, actress, mime, multicultural specialist, and creative experiential educator.
She guides listeners deep into their imaginations through her poetic and vivid imagery of world folk tales, myths, heroine and hero journeys, trickster tales, and nature stories.
Rosenberg has a unique ability to engage all of the senses as she takes her listeners on magical journeys to better understand other cultures and the natural world.
Through her animated movements, facial expressions and sounds, Rosenberg completely embodies the stories she tells.
