Art auction to benefit Shelton youth bureau

SHELTON - The Shelton Youth Service Bureau along with Shelton Intermediate School will hold a Silent Art Auction and Ice Cream Social from 7-8:30 p.m.
Tuesday in the main lobby of Shelton Intermediate School.

The Youth Service Bureau will offer free ice cream for the event.
The Bureau operates out of Shelton High School and sponsors many kid- and teen-friendly events during the course of the year.
It has provided all of the supplies to make the beautiful bowls.
SIS students worked hard to construct and glaze the food-safe bowls over the last couple of months.
There will be about 20 brightly-colored bowls auctioned during the event.
Starting price for the auction will be $5.

Other artwork from SIS students will be on display as well.

This is a press release from the school.
