Authors address community in Shelton

SHELTON - The “Smiles Within A Village” Happiness Club at Crosby Commons Assisted Living Community Monday welcomed nationally-known inspirational speakers and authors, Dr. Bernie Siegel and Janet Pfeiffer for a special discussion on Siegel’s new book, Animal Miracles

The book features transformational connections, miracle healings, and rescues between humans and animals and invites readers to share their own stories as well. 

Award-winning author, speaker, and leading authority in the field of anger management and conflict resolution, Janet Pfeiffer, shared her own inspirational animal story and shared from her book, The Secret Side of Anger

The event was open to the public and attended by more than 50 people.

Authors to address club at Shelton community



SHELTON - The “Smiles within a Village” Happiness Club at Crosby Commons Assisted Living Community will welcome Dr. Bernie Siegel and Janet Pfeiffer at 2:30 p.m. July 14..

There will be a special discussion about Siegel’s new book, Animal Miracles. Hear about the transformational connections, miracle healings, and rescues between humans and animals. Share your own stories as well.

Shelton facility to celebrate happiness

SHELTON - The community is invited to Crosby Commons Assisted Living Community on March for a meeting of the Smiles Within A Village Happiness Club, in celebration of United Nations International Happiness Day.

Group facilitator Mary Ann Milano will be introducing “Happiness in a Box,” a special video presentation created by Happiness Club Founder, Lionel Ketchian and Frank Kuchinski with OnGo Health.

The meeting is free and will begin at 3 p.m.
Crosby Commons is located on the Wesley Village campus at 580 Long Hill Ave.

Life coach to address club at Shelton facility

SHELTON - Crosby Commons Assisted Living Community will host the “Smiles Within A Village” Happiness Club at 3:30 p.m. Feb. 4.

The event will feature a discussion with Jeff Monachelli, Certified Life Coach and Holistic Astrologer, entitled “Your Thoughts Create Your Reality”.

Monachelli will talk about how to think positively, using a mind-body approach in one’s daily life to attain maximum satisfaction and happiness.

The event is free and open to the public. Crosby Commons is on the Wesley Village campus, 580 Long Hill Ave.

Holistic life coach to address club in Shelton

SHELTON - Jeff Monachelli, a holistic Certified Professional Life Coach and Astrologist, will speak to the Smiles Within A Village Happiness Club at 3 p.m. April 17 in Crosby Commons at Wesley Village, 580 Long Hill Ave.

Light refreshments will be served.

Monachelli will discuss ways to overcome roadblocks in your life and get on the path to happiness and well-being.

Actress to share performing arts experiences

 SHELTON  - The next meeting of the Smiles Within A Village Happiness Club will be held at 2 p.m. June 18 at Crosby Commons at Wesley Village, 580 Long Hill Ave.
    Light refreshments will be served.
    The meeting, which is free, will feature a presentation by Martina Sternfeld, a screenwriter, actress and teacher. She will share her many experiences of being involved in the performing arts through audience participation in theater exercises.
    Meetings of the Smiles Within A Village Happiness Club are held on the third Monday of every month at Crosby Commons.
