DERBY — It may have been a day later than scheduled but the first day of school for students at Bradley and Irving schools and Derby Middle School went off without a hitch Wednesday, administrators said.
The first day was delayed because there still was no electricity at Derby High School. The high school remains closed.
At Bradley School, Principal Christine DiGrazia marked her first opening day. She started as Bradley principal in December and missed last year’s first day of school and all that it entails.
