SHELTON - Sutter-Terlizzi Post 16 American Legion of Shelton, in conjunction with the American Legion Department of Connecticut’s Third District, is sponsoring a Walk-a-Thon to raise money for Connecticut Children's Hospital.
The walk will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Veteran’s Park on the Riverwalk. Registration and donations will be accepted at the Farmer's Market that morning.

The event will include a two to three-mile walk. Bottled water will be provided for participants.
Walkers who have more than $20 in sponsorships will receive a Walk-a-thon T-shirt.
