Legislator lists endorsements

State Rep. Len Greene Jr., R-Seymour, has received the endorsement of the Connecticut Business and Industry Association (CBIA) and the Uniformed Professional Fire Fighters Association of CT (UPFFA).

The CBIA is the state’s largest business organization with more than10,000 member companies, while the UPFFA represents firefighters in the State of Connecticut.

The CBIA also endorsed Greene two years ago when he first sought the seat.

The UPFFA said its decision to endorse was based upon Greene's “record of support for the Professional Fire Fighter of the State of Connecticut and his leadership in helping to ensure the health and safety of our brothers and sisters throughout the state.”

Greene has received endorsements this year from the National Federation of Independent Businesses, the NRA, and the Connecticut Association of Realtors which also supported him two years ago.

This year the NFIB, which is the nation’s leading small business association that represents thousands of small businesses in Connecticut, said Greene’s, “voting record over the past two legislative sessions on key issues important to small business indicates that he will continue to be committed to the thousands of Main Street small businesses and their employees in Connecticut when he is re-elected to serve in Hartford.”

This information was provided by Greene's office.
