Support group to learn about benefits, services

SHELTON - The next meeting of the low vision support group in Shelton - Learn to See the World - is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. March 27 in the Gallery at Crosby Commons at Wesley Village, 580 Long Hill Ave.

Speakers will be Mark Rafferty and Chris Lassen, representatives from the Bureau of Education and Services for the Blind of Connecticut. They will explain how to determine if you are eligible for benefits and how to apply for services.

The meeting is free and open to the public. Individuals with low vision or are legally blind are encouraged to attend for fellowship and support.
