Seymour resident creates monkeys for annual drive
Barbara Tchakirides of Seymour holds three of the 22 monkeys she crocheted for the eighth annual Monkey Love Drive to brighten Valentine's Day for needy children. She is standing in J Cuts, a barber shop at 505 Howe Ave., Shelton, where many of the stuffed simians were collected. Stay tuned for a story in the New Haven Register.
