Kidney health focus of talk at Griffin in Derby



DERBY - A free presentation at Griffin Hospital April 8 will help answer questions about kidney health.
Megan Gervais, of DaVita Dialysis Center, will present “Kidney Smart”  at 6 p.m. April 8 in the hospital’s Meditation and Learning Center.
The talk will focus on how kidneys function and common causes of chronic kidney disease; how medications, diet and nutrition work together for good health; and potential treatment options for kidney diseases.

The presentations are part of Griffin Hospital's Healthy U “Tuesday Talks,” a series of free wellness talks featuring Griffin Hospital medical experts and community partners providing trusted health information and answers to questions on a wide range of topics.

All Tuesday Talks are held in Griffin Hospital’s Meditation and Learning Center, 130 Division St. Light refreshments will be served.
