ANSONIA - In honor of National Small Business week, Rep. Linda Gentile (D-Ansonia, Derby) will host a small business forum from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, May 5 at Emmett O'Brien Technical High School, 141 Prindle Ave.
At
the forum, representatives from the Department of Economic Development and the
Department of Labor will speak about the various programs and resources
available that support small businesses.
“Small
businesses are the backbone of our economy and we must continue to provide them
with the necessary tools they need to thrive,” Rep. Gentile said. “I am excited
to meet with small business owners and will continue to support them in the
legislature.”
Rep.
Gentile will be joined by Sen. Logan, House Republican Leader Rep. Themis
Klarides and Rep. Klarides-Ditria.
