Seymour to hold 'Trunk or Treat' Sunday

“Seymour Trunk or Treat,” a community event presented by the Seymour Police Department, Seymour Ambulance Association, Seymour Fire Department, and Seymour Public Schools.

Alfred didn’t stop “Trunk or Treat!” Sandy will not stop it either!  Come join us this Sunday for a fun family Halloween Event at Seymour Middle School, 211 Middle Road. 

Event time: 6-7:30 p.m.; set-up time:4-5:45 p.m. (no cars in or out until after the event).
This free family event is for children in Pre-K through Grade 6.
To enter:
  •   Bring one family car and decorate your trunk.
  •   Bring one carved jack-o-lantern (without a candle we will have glow sticks).
  •   Please bring plenty of candy to hand out.
  •   All children must be accompanied by an adult.
No “walk-ins” allowed. Come join fellow residents for carloads of fun! Dress-up and watch your children trick or treat from car to car.

Show off your costume in the “Children’s Costume Parade” and Dance to Eagle Productions’ D.J. Richie G’s Scary Music. Cider will be available.
Prizes will be awarded for: “Best Decorated Trunk;” “Best Costumes;” and “Best Jack-O-Lanterns.”
