SHELTON — A 92-year old city man has died as a result of injuries he received this morning in a collision on Walnut Tree Hill Road, Lt. Robert Kozlowsky said in a release.

At about 9:30 a.m. today police responded to Walnut Tree Hill Road near Short Street for a two-car accident.

The Fire Department and EMS were also sent because it was reported that one person was unable to get out of the vehicle due to the damage to the door, Kozlowsky said.
