SEYMOUR - EnV hair lounge, 225 West St., Oxmour Plaza, will host its second annual
Cut-A-Thon, "Fight to Knock Out Breast Cancer" from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Oct. 19.
The event will benefit Seymour Pink, a grassroots initiative founded in 2009 by resident Mary Deming.
The nonprofit raises funds for breast cancer survivors and promotes awareness of the disease.
The price is $20 for shampoo and a haircut.
There will be plaza specials, vendors and information booths that day.
Take a chance to win fabulous prizes donated by local businesses and families.
A bus will be on hand for mammogram screenings from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. for both insured and uninsured patients.
