DERBY >> Police have identified the worker who died inside a
large, garage-style structure at 36 Commerce St. Monday afternoon.
Glenn Farr, 58, of Birchbank Road in Shelton died in an apparent
workplace accident at the facility next to the Dunkin’ Donuts on Route
34.
City police and the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration are investigating the fatality, according to the Valley Independent Sentinel.
Tax records show the building is owned by Frank Pepe, of F. Pepe
Construction, and Glenn W. Farr. It is unknown at this time whether the
Glenn Farr who died is the same person as the co-owner.
Autopsy results from the state medical examiner’s office will be sent to police.
