DERBY - There will be a Republican primary for Governor, Lieutenant
Governor, and Comptroller from 6 a.m.-8 p.m. Aug. 12.
Pursuant to Connecticut General
Statutes, only registered Republican voters may vote in this primary.
The Registrars of Voters will conduct a
special voter registration session from 5-7 p.m. July 29 at City Hall, 1 Elizabeth St.
In addition, potential voters may
complete a registration card at Derby City Hall between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. You may
also mail in your voter registration card to Derby City Hall.
Any American citizen who is 18
years of age is eligible to register to vote.
The deadline for eligibility to vote in the 2014 Republican primary is at noon Aug.11.
The regular federal and state
elections will be held on Nov. 4.
