Shelton residents Michael Madison and William Rutkauska, were the big winners at the June 28 Men’s Health Day event sponsored by Griffin Hospital’s Health Initiative for Men (HiM) campaign.
Madison won the raffle for a new Char-Broil grill while Rutkauskas took home the $200 Family Fun Day gift card for the Sports Center of Connecticut in Shelton.
Held in recognition of
Men’s Health Month, the event offered health information tables and free
health screenings, including Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) blood
test, blood sugar, blood pressure and Body Mass
Index, as well as one-on-one consultation with Griffin’s physicians.

inspire men to have an annual physical and to raise awareness about
men’s health issues such as prostate cancer and colorectal cancer,
