ANSONIA - The Ansonia Nature and Recreation Center will host family organic gardening from 3:30-5 p.m. Fridays starting Sept. 5 through November.
Food Corps member Eileen Garcia and Ansonia Nature and Recreation Center staff will lead fun,
family-friendly activities in the center's organic garden.
Participants will learn about growing a
variety of fruits and vegetables.
Wear appropriate attire; you might get
water and/or soil on your clothing. Closed-toe shoes are required.
The program is free with the potential to take home some fresh local produce!
The nature center is at 10 Deerfield Road.
