SEYMOUR - A grand opening of the Henny Penny convenience store at 2-4 New
Haven Road will be held Wednesday, with an official ribbon cutting scheduled at 2 p.m.
Company officials, First Selectman
Kurt Miller, and Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce representatives will be on hand.
Radio
Station KC101 will be on-site running a live remote broadcast from 1-3 p.m. and
will be giving away prizes.
The Henny Penny convenience store offering Shell gasoline and diesel fuel recently opened.
The almost 3,000-square-foot facility was developed, and is operated
by, an affiliate of Hendels, Inc., a third generation family and locally-owned
company with 25 stores throughout Connecticut.
