Intro to Reiki planned at Derby library

DERBY -  The Derby Public Library has scheduled a two-session Introduction to Reiki program at 6 p.m. on Mondays, Jan. 13 and 27.

Cheryl Giampapa, Reiki Master and Instructor, B.S. Social Work, will be the presenter.

On Jan. 13, Giampapa will give an overview of energy healing as a holistic approach to well being and a brief history of Reiki, along with its uses.

On Jan. 27, a typical Reiki session will be described and  demonstrated.

Individual mini sessions will be available to those who want to try it.
