ANSONIA >> Aldermanic President Phillip Tripp aims to unseat
longtime state Sen. Joe Crisco, D-Woodbridge, in a race for the 17th
District.
Tripp announced his intentions earlier this year to run in the
district, which covers Ansonia, Beacon Falls, Bethany, Derby, Hamden,
Naugatuck and Woodbridge.
On Sept. 24, Tripp will unveil his platform at 10 a.m. at his headquarters, 301 Main St.
