SEYMOUR >> Despite an inoperable brain tumor now affecting
Seymour High School cheerleader Nina Poeta’s mobility and speech, the
brave teenager continues to demonstrate unbeatable spirit and courage
both on and off the field.
Nina, 17, according to close family friend, Elizabeth Pisano,
needs a wheelchair to get around now, but she was still able to attend
the Wildcats’ recent season opener, cheering the football team on,
surrounded by her fellow cheerleaders.
