Hard work pays off for 2 in Seymour Recreation class

Four years of hard work has paid off for two students of the Seymour Martial Arts Academy, located at the Seymour Recreation Department.

In above photo, Ryan McCormick, left, and John Evensen, right, are shown with their instructor Dean Meier, a fourth degree Certified Master Instructor. They have recently been promoted to first degree Black Belt.

"If anyone deserves to be black belts it's these two individuals. They are excellent examples of what dedication and perseverance can do for those who have the mindset of achieving their goals," Meier says.
The Seymour Recreation Department offers Karate classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays for ages 6 to adult, with beginner and advanced classes.
Students experience the many benefits of training in a traditional martial art. Family discounts are available. Enrollment is ongoing.
For more information contact Dean Meier , 203-527-5547.
