Nature center to offer yoga classes

ANSONIA - Friends of the Ansonia Nature Center will hold a monthly meeting at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Center, 10 Deerfield Road.
New members are always welcome, and volunteers are needed to help with the Center's special events, family programs, wildlife rehabilitation, trail maintenance, and reception center duties.

Yoga classes to start
After a long hot summer, take time for some healthy and relaxing exercise at the Ansonia Nature Center with seasoned Hatha Yoga practitioner and instructor, Pamela Mellitz.
Classes begin at 6:30 p.m. Thursday and continue for seven weeks.  Enrollment is limited; call early for additional information and to register.
