Ansonia man gets 6 years for robbing elderly Shelton resident at knifepoint

MILFORD — An Ansonia man convicted of robbing an elderly Shelton resident in his home at knifepoint was sentenced to six years in prison Tuesday.
Robert Robinson, 41, had pleaded guilty to first-degree robbery with a dangerous instrument and conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery for the Oct. 13, 2010, incident. Robinson also admitted violating his probation, as he had been on probation at the time for a possession of narcotics conviction.
