SEYMOUR — Founded 161 years ago as Humphreysville, the town Sunday will celebrate its humble beginnings.
The second annual Seymour Founders Day will be held 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. downtown. The event is being sponsored by Oxford Paint and Hardware. Rain date is June 12. Admission is free.
More than 175 food, crafts and antiques vendors, along with rides, games, a classic car show, live music, street entertainers, a beer garden and various town organizations, will have booths set up along Main, Bank and First streets, which will be closed to traffic.
