SEYMOUR — First Selectman Paul Roy is expected to announce his re-election campaign Friday.
Roy, a Democrat, plans to make the announcement at 6:30 p.m. outside the Diversified Electric Services, Inc. building on Main Street. Following the announcement, Roy is inviting people to join him at Zois’ Pizza for refreshments.
Roy, 62, who had previously served on the Board of Selectmen for four years, was elected in Nov. 2009, unseating longtime First Selectman Robert Koskelowski.
