Woman gets 12 years in Ansonia stabbing death; 'She chose to take my child's life,' victim's mom says

MILFORD — Mildred Lewis tearfully told a judge Thursday how she has sleepless nights and anger issues ever since her daughter, Jennifer Lewis, was stabbed to death in Ansonia.
“She chose to take my child’s life,” Mildred Lewis said, referring to Tiffany Perry, who sat nearby in the defendant’s chair.
The victim’s sister, Cheyanne Lewis, also cried as she spoke to Judge Richard Arnold in Superior Court in Milford.
“All I want is for justice to be served,” she said.
